Hello!

Recently I have finished work on a musical order from sunny Los Angeles. The chain of acquaintances led me to a french director and a photographer, who now live and work in United States. Their duet is called CURTET.

The first part of the work consisted in writing three musical adaptations to the already available tracks from the promotional video. The references were modern electronic tracks, and work on them seemed particularly interesting to me, because I had never tried to write something like that. And the fourth video itself was an example – it did not have music, and the task was to create an author’s composition. The video was a presentation of photos in the style of 70s: fatal seductresses, gangsters and drug dealers in the atmosphere of Californian retro landscapes. In my music I tried to emphasise this context and convey the mood of festive posters – after all, the movie was made specially for the photo exhibition “The 25th Frame”, which will be held in Los Angeles in September.
